Metadata Updates
If you accidentally messed up a release, no worries. We can easily fix some metadata, while core data can't be changed. Check it out:
What we can fix
The following changes can be made with a metadata update:
- Artwork
- Title
- Version
- Artists
- Label
- Release Date
- Credits
- Genre
- P/C Line
- Explicit Status
- Catalog Number
- Territories
- Languages
What we can't fix
The following changes will need to be made with a takedown and reupload:
- UPC
- ISRCs
- Tracklist Ordering
- Audio files
❗️We're currently adding metadata editing functionality to Composer, so you can process requests yourself! You might see it available in Composer now, but it is beta, so proceed with caution.
